This bastard on wheels is the feet, eyes and ears of AI applications that will monitor and predict the shit out of you. It's not your friend. And you have to extrapolate where that can lead to in the future, given that government and corporations are rapidly on the way to becoming extremely authoritarian and intrusive.
Maybe in future it will ask you questions such as where have you been, who did you see, why did you leave your phone, why did you stop taking your pills. Or it will threaten to report you for leaving your house during lockdown or curfew. Or for not wearing a mask at home.
These things won't come about suddenly but will be phased in gradually. And every time there will be a good reason. To check in on your well-being, to prevent school shootings, to protect children from abuse, to protect you from misinformation-wrongthink, to make sure you get all your injections.
