weirdly enough I've been seeing the inverse. A ton of people shitting on artists being upset. I think that until there are ethical rules and laws in place, I'm not comfortable using these tools in any meaningful way. And I truly think if there were guidelines like that, most artists would calm down. I myself used A.I art a lot, even before the discussion really exploded. I saw it as a tool. My PFP is a.i generated. But the more I learned about it, the more I really felt bad for all of the creative world.
So long as it is unethical, and framed more as a monetary scam off the back of stable diffusion, it will always be problematic.
