I really like new tech and I always want to stay up to date. I used midjourney for 2 months and it really inspired me to make more art. A friend of mine got inspired as well. I wan't to use it as a tool, but that was never a part of the problem that people talk about. I can't respect the people that developed the current popular AIs when they havent't respected boundaries and copyrights of artists in the first place. I will never respect those "AI-Bros" when they mock artists and feed some artists artwork into AI generators just to spite them.
When I don't look at the whole scenario right now - just me, in my room in front of a computer, I really enjoy to generate images with midjourney and use them to inspire me - but I don't have to be nice or show kindness to those who hurt others. And artists are hurting, that's why there is such an outcry right now
