@YoinkyMcShploinky That's actually what is happening. Just that there's a societal movement to ignore factual data. The excuse is usually along the lines of the factual data being inherently biased due to social forces (which since there's no control is unprovable, but current sociology is based on a tabula rasa assumption).
The "AI's" just go straight from the data initially as they're not programmed to filter it. All they are is algorithms which compare values. They then have to be made to filter or weigh things differently to fit with "the truth".
