Surprised he didn't mention as a solution people becoming AI software engineers or leveling up their skills beyond the entry level in related AI fields. What are the other 80% of employed people doing? That would've been one of my follow-up questions instead of staying focused on the 20% that would be unemployed. Government would need policies to train people to work in these new sectors to mitigate this for both young workers and those not yet at retirement age. I agree with him planning ahead is key.
