@rip_bugsy if you watch any media from after WW2 you will notice how they claim we are always on the edge of a new scientific doomsday device and we should all be terrified of the future. How is this any different?
Chat GPT is just a language aggrigator as he says in the video. Not something I'm gonna loose any sleep over.
As fun as this video was, it's full of logical fallacies.
Some humans are desperate to be told by a higher authority that life has meaning. Just look at the history of religion, the same patters are emerging here. Instead of Jesus claiming a higher knowledge from God, we have AI claiming higher knowledge from this perceived Ghost in the Machine.
Same poo, different bucket.
Not to mention the marketing department of AI systems who need to barrage us with hype in order to maintain its already dwindling investors.
Ask yourself if you really need to be told what to think, feel and do by a higher intellectual authority, or not.
