No, i don’t think improvements are made through mistakes like these.
There’s no learning involved in this wreck and tesla has definitely thought of this happening before even releasing their crash preventions. The problem is that the AI itself can’t improve when it’s limited to an extent. Detection range was too short and most likely needs a part improvement, not a learning improvement.
