I don't think they can do the sweeping innovation without permission because you can't just use someone's likeness without consent and no one's going to consent, so if they try the sweeping innovation they're just going to run themselves into a class action lawsuit. And AI isn't that good enough to replace movie actors. I think the voice actors have more to worry about though.
