@TenThousandDoors That literally is what it means in this context, you clearly don't know much about this. There are many ways to jailbreak ChatGPT that you can google, and they patch as many as they can, but he was able to use a prompt that did it.
And it's easy to say they should include a way that authorities are alerted, but they would get a lot of backlash for monitoring user chats, and imagine if false alarms happened.
I'm not saying that there shouldn't be any ways to safeguard ChatGPT, which there already are some, but at the same time it shouldn't be blamed for something like this. I saw someone put it this way: if you evade all of a building's safety measures and jump off of it, is it the building's fault that you used it to do that?
