Chess players have been hopelessly outmatched by software for almost 30 years by now, and yet this hasn't made human chess any less popular, meaningful, or enjoyable. Whatever we do, there's always someone - or something - that does it better (or faster, cheaper, more efficiently, etc). There's nothing new about AI in this regard.
