If you have passion, you will continue making art. I don't really see AI as a threat (even though I sometimes toy with the idea of an artistic neo-renaissance, how great that would be) because as long as AI isn't capable of human emotions, it can't create nearly as inspiring works as humans can. But if an AI generated image has a great story behind it, like for example a person who physically can't pick up a brush but wants to desperately make art, so he relies on AI to make the vision he has inside of his mind: that is what can make AI art great. The emotion, but not of the AI itself, but of the person behind it. I think it's a similar story to cameras, artists started freaking out because portrait painting started losing popularity and then the camera just became a tool for artists to use and boom: you have a new art subcategory called photography. Since AI is not gonna stop anytime soon, I'd say use it as best you can for yourself.
