@Fern_leaf255 Did you read my entire comment? AI art isn’t a copy-and-paste job. It doesn’t store or duplicate exact images—unless it’s been trained unethically on unfiltered, copyrighted material. Most AI models, whether via Neural Style Transfer or diffusion, simply learn patterns, structures, and styles—just like humans do when they study art. Leaving that out, especially with an art-school background, says quite a bit about her character. If Lavender Towne feels the need to “poison” her digital drawings, the problem lies in how datasets are assembled, not AI as a whole. It’s the same as watermarking photos to prevent misuse—you’re guarding against bad actors, not condemning the medium. That’s a human problem, not a technology problem. AI is just a tool—use it or don’t. Believing it to be a threat underestimates both technology and human intelligence. Since so many dislike AI-generated art, they’ll pick what they prefer. That’s what I meant by coexistence. You wouldn’t insist a restaurant you dislike be shut down—despite its success—just because of personal taste. If you don’t like a restaurant’s menu, you can go somewhere else—you don’t hope and pray the place shuts down. Art works the same way. A more logical (mature) stance is to acknowledge different preferences and move on. It's that simple. :)
