You assume that we are happy about others losing their job or about outsourcing. The thing is that artists have always been in a precarious position and now it could be potentially even worse. The sad thing is that the Internet before AI was actually really great for artists, because they could connect with a wide audience.
Personally I am the type of person who is far more productive when there is a monetary incentive involved (thanks ADHD), so I don't want this to go away for art.
