Everyone has a deadline for how useful they are, that's mortality. Art is a skill that takes time and effort to develop. Mortal, finite time. AI art is not such a skill. To claim otherwise is hypocritical. To claim otherwise while benefiting from tools trained off the collective output of millions of artists who worked hard, and spent their limited time to develop those skills is hypocritical and ignorant. No one cares if you make AI art, but claiming you've achieved some kind of greatness comparable to the collective hours of all the great and not quite as great artists who came before through typing a sentence is worthy of ridicule. Its like saying beating a video game makes you an ace pilot, a great warrior, or a war hero. It's deluded.
