@BrendanDellthere is a chef bot which can cook at the level of a world premier chef and these are actively working in San Francisco kitchens right now. Waymo automated taxis are working in San Francisco. If we wanted to we really could figure out a way to automate almost all work such that we could no longer provide jobs to most current workers—and we could especially replace mental labor like CEOs and investors—which ofc there’s no effort being put into that.
There is no reason to maintain a market economy right now, it’s quite literally just oppression.
