The problem is capitalism: The attempt to make every damn thing into a commodity to sell for profit (surplus extracted from the work of others). These companies now not just want some of the artist's money, now they want ALL OF THEM. Romantic love has been commoditized by tinder where you can talk to random girls that u dont even know about (which is not bad by itself, in my opinion) and make them date you (here also, it is not bad), but while you date this lady/men, tinder will recommend more "better looking" partners, which enforces toxic beauty standards and also make you break up with her even if she is a good long term partner for you. The thing is, tinder never cared about your goodness or the parter's goodness. It was all about profit. Think about it for a second. If you stay with her and dont break up, then you wont use tinder and wont pay for tinder subscription. And if they really intended for your own good, then they should have made the app so that you need to breakup with your current girlfriend first to browse other girls. And even devs need to worry about their jobs. All their innovation and creativity is exploited enormously using ludicrous surplus extraction. For elon musk getting 350-500 times more money than workers per year, people say that he works hard...he is innovative and stuff like that. First, no human on earth can possibly work 350 times harder than a developer who works 12 hrs per day for making software. That is because 350 x 12 = a number much larger than 24, which is the maximum number of hours. And now, chatgpt can write code too 💀. And this is possible because the chatgpt ai was trained using millions of lines of free open source code published on github written by devs. Why they do it for free? for the same reason some artists draw during the free time... for the freaking passion and love for their creation. Now that goddamn monster of an AI can write code free of cost for large multinational corporations who can now control the world efforlessly. We need to be ready to say "Heil Elon" or something and try to prove everyday that we are not a inferior human being. The society is becoming dehumanized day by day. Inflation hits hard on us and changes our lifestyle while elon musk travels in his private jet with no issues even during the worst of times, and jeff bezos is also living a lifestyle unaffected by the shitty inflation. I hope for a day wherein all these advancements like AI and tech in general are community owned and not owned by some massive corporations so that our society can be more egalitarian. In other words, seize the means of production (I am a communist, I feel that i need to disclose this as i don't want to be a dishonest cuck like those greedy filthy rich capitalist freaks)
