Because of the large amount of baby boomers, smaller amount of young people, and its generated by taxing income of individuals. If there is an ai wealth tax, it should just be distributed evenly with whatever it brings in. They just need a proper way for the profit generation to not continue to fall in the hands of the most wealthy among us.
