@41-Haiku this is a very suspect claim. If the Ai can solve open problems in advanced mathematics, then why aren't the open problems solved by now? Are they waiting on better weather? It's ridiculous. There have been a few conjectures claimed to have been solved by Ai, but there is strong possibility that these answers are buried in obscure literature because the conjectures have no real import, solved or not. And only the machines have been trained in those obscurities.
You can't have it both ways. Let's see an Ai count to one thousand, and then solve the open problem of quantum gravity. 😂 Or at least win a miillion dollar prize for solving at least _one_ significant problem by itself. It's not going to happen, because it won't do a damned thing without being prompted to do so by a human familiar with the problem and adept at using llms as research tools for digging through the literature.
