I think the government should make it to where an Ai or robot that replaces human work or workers, the Ai or robot must self report how much revenue that it has generated and be taxed on a percentage of that revenue generated. For example, if an Ai replaces a tech sales rep (reality is it will replace a whole sales team, like 10 or so people), and makes say 1 mil in a week, it self reports and pays a 40% tax on that revenue. This could then be used to provide UBI for the humans that are laid off etc. I would also say UBI should replace all other entitlements, like social security, unemployment, food stamps ect. And it should go to the oldest people like say those unemployed or laid off that are over 50 yo or mothers and pregnant women.
