Well said. Only some Nobel Prize winners seem to understand that. That speaks to our predicament. Also, our biggest problem is climate change. That's already coming. AI can only help us deal with it. Not solve it. Nothing is more powerful than nature. Our other biggest problem is extraterrestrial colonization of earth (hybrids). He definitely does not see the latter, and he understates the seriousness of the first. It's foolish to think technology will save us. Foolish to think God will save us. Foolish to think ets will save us. We will save us, since we are the ones who can act in this world. God will encourage us to do that. Extraterrestrials will encourage us to capitulate using our own technological infrastructure. And academics in their hubris, arrogance and blindness are not the people we should look to for big answers. For those - we have to look into our own hearts, and face our own maker.
