As a disabled artist who used AI I find it's actively unless. I have a severe visual impairment in one eye leaving me nearly blind and I have motor control issues. I've used an AI art generator once. Didn't make me feel good didn't do anything I could on my own, tho I have spent almost a decade in art school trying to overcome my issue to moderate success.
Mostly the ai generator just made me frustrated. It's clear lack of polish and it being a block box I couldn't pick apart and learn turned me away. It's not advancement it's not disability tech it's just stealing.
