@douggale5962I mean, sure. But in my country people don't just let the trains and cars etc run on autopilot without a human with the ability to override input present. They won't for a long time. And even when they will, there still will be humans monitoring everything from a distance.
Currently all the self driving technologies exist, they're already used in robots in warehouses, but noone is letting that stuff out on the streets. Companies have to get special permits and go through rigorous testing before their (in my mom's case) trucks are let out on a very specific stretches of highways you have to pay for to drive on (I don't remember what they're called in english). Even then, again, people are in the truck, people are around the truck and people are monitoring the truck from their office.
And it's even stricter with public transport.
