Yep, going through getting a degree for computer science with a major in AI, I took the major before ChatGPT existed, and it's fun to create and see small-scale AI models detect images, detect speech patterns and more. Since generative AI exploded on the internet, people both drool or scowl at the simple mention of AI. And since people really like to jump to conclusions nowadays to save a few brain cells, I've gotten crude comments when I was talking about my university assignments where I had to train an AI model to detect people falling.
