I mean, kinda but not really. Machine learning has already hit a hard limit on how "good" it can be & turns out it's pretty terrible at most things.
That will not stop business owners from giving it a try, though. A lot of people & a lot of businesses will be hurt by it in the short term, but in the long term it'll be a blow against our economic system.
The core proposition of capitalism is that "a rising tide raises all boats." The more powerful people poke holes in the little guy's boat, the more people will lose faith in this economic system entirely.
