@BetterThanLifeProd Not usually autonomously though. There's cameras mounted to it so an operator can control it when engaging things like boats. Aircraft it can shoot down if their flight path appears to be an attack. But the operator has to set it up for that, and authorize it to engage. Otherwise, it just tracks the plane just in case someone says "go". It also works with the ships onboard combat system to select and engage targets.
It also cannot move around on it's own, it's bolted to the ship. Not a LAW by definition.
