Agreed. I was a respiratory therapist for 17 years and know the most important part of good patient care comes from nurses. They are the ones who know the small and big things that happen that matter to patients and making them feel as though they are getting good care and that someone cares. Doctors make diagnosis based on guess based on facts, which a computer can do faster and better. Likely AI will replace much of what doctors do, but never nurses.
