@RandomViewer-p1i ChatGPT is a tool, you can't blame it all on ChatGPT and dispense everyone from the responsibilities. It's neither a psy nor a friend. This is not to advocate for ChatGPT btw, I'm just saying that the kid was already in a bad enough mental space to get to that point. Obviously you could put more pushback from ChatGPT, but the kid cheated his way too. The AI is reflective, not "encouraging", but "supportive". It's a bit of an easy way out to blame the AI and not assume there is fault elsewhere. This is not the first adolescent to hit that bottom, it's neither new nor helpful
