Real question, do you listen to AI music, read AI books or watch AI movies? Of course not due to them lacking any value as media.
Also I disagree on the "tool" analogy, as a tool has *control* you can't really have control over AI images they just go off on there own accord, vaguely matching your prompt. Like you seriously can't believe that a fully artificial image is the same a fill bucket or a lasso tool. Even if you use it as a reference, 9/10 you can better more clear results via other artists work.
