honestly I would like to see how it performs objectively against real therapy in a large double blind study because I would be willing to bet that it would beat regular therapy by the 80/20 rule, in that for 80% of people the AI therapy would be better than trad therapy.
The last therapist I went to was amazing and well trained but the 3 I tried before him were burnt out and one of them doodled during sessions. nobody can convince me that GPT isn't beating that therapist.
