This makes more sense especially when you look at the current bubble that’s growing around the major ai companies and likely will burst soon. Adding on the fact they have to rent the data centers because they can’t make any money from ai itself and are begging for government bailouts already. Also most companies seeing profit loss overtime when they replace workers instead of gain. I think this is all on the assumption that ai can actually do what it’s been advertised to when it really can’t (see coding for example). It’s improved at an insane rate but it’s still not able to consistently do accurate work at the level of humans beyond the most basic level. It’s best used as an assistant for base level jobs a training tool or something to do menial tasks hopefully that’s where it ends and not in the subpar replacement that a lot of ppl are afraid of
