The horse and buggy to automobile analogy is not really relevant here. An entire industry as well as all the infrastructure was created. AI removes us all from the picture. Even the folks who are building it WILL be replaced. What is the end game? We will have more free time they say. To do what?? Think or dream maybe become more educated by AI? What would be the point really? I appreciate the attempt at a positive outlook though but so far I only see a short term gain for 90% of us.
