Was my experiance at start too. Then I took approach like in "old" *team* development with juniors. You just need to guide them in small phases at start, ones you can review easily and fast. If they do duplicated code, tell them so and instruct them how to fix it before doing whole app. Do it early. Then, and this is *crucial* , document what you have thought them! Human context as well as AI context capcity is limited and often does not survive between tasks. DOccument those in `AGENT.md`/`CLAUDE.md` files, or detailed project specs docs referrenced there or coding standard docs referenced there (you make your pick). That (early) feedback loop is crucial. Focus on patterns. YOu will be surprised how much dev agents improve this way and start making less and less mistakes on the project.
