​@XTE_13 I asked that because you asked me if AI was theft and It felt a little off topic from the two points in my comment. Your answer on how much control you really have seems to prove my point on it being too tedious. Too tedious for someone who already darws to consider to be worth it. Now to answer weather or not AI is theft depends on the type used. Like If an artist want to put thier own work into AI and Only thier work to speed up thier drawing process or whatever. That would not be theft because because they have the artists permission and they might have more say in who uses it if anyone else. But thats not very common because AI needs A lot of examples to feed off of in order to make something thats not a pile of mush. While it would be possible to just ask a bunch of artists if they can use their art as training data, they dont. No artists are asked if they want to be apart of it, an its not just that its being used in training. Since AI is so accessible anyone can then generate something that looks like someone elses art style and then sell the image. No artists are asked no artists are paid. Its like breaking into peoples houses taking a picture of thier sketchbook behind thier back and then going home, printing out the drawing and then trying to color over it with permanent marker, then showing everyone like you drew it. Or worse trying to sell it and Acually getting more money then the artist its stolen from. Most of the times though, people are just upset they were a cog in a wheel to make someone else more money then them without even being asked. Like even If AI makes something thats mashed together enough to look different, all the artists who's work went into making that image see absolutely no pay from it. Even Disney could see the problem in it. This is from what ive learned so far btw theres always more to learn and people talking about it that know a more then me. Like Lavender town a youtuber that looks up stuff way more then I do so yeah thats my take.
