im convinced you didn't watch the video before commenting. the anti ai sentimant is not mainly directed at those big cooperations in this, they'll obviously do what they want to make money, it's mainly directed at the people backing ai which is why this whole video is debunking those comments and offering ways for artists to avoid their art being used this way. this whole mindset of "well it's happening so who cares" is so stupid because someone saying it's disrespectful as hell to use ghibli's art in ai is still setting the precedent for people to be pissed when people use ai rather than actually work.
like that dude who used a shaggy voice ai for an animation rather than just hiring a voice actor, or that guy who made a whole podcast using ai replicated voice actors voices, or that ai movie that's plot made no sense, or that ai coke ad that looked terrible. it all got flamed and made fun of, so whether this tool is built upon or not there's a very vocal amount of people who will dog on it, making it unusable for serious projects.
