@chuckread5801 Well, it's good to be skeptical on the internet but I think that you misunderstood what I was saying... We hired 5 Ai devs for 8 months, they failed so spectacularly that on top of being team lead for 2 teams, I'm now in charge of the whole frontend department. Those Ai devs literally made me go up the ladder. But guess what, I used to run the native app team (ie. mobile apps), now thanks to them I'm back working on a framework I absolutely adore (vue 3). I also have full control over our frontend tech stack now. I get to dictate how things are going because they basically don't have the choice lol On top of that, most new devs will learn with Ai, which means that they'll be worse developer than I am, which greatly increases my odds of getting more work in the future. Also, Ai has been very helpful with personal projects, I pulled things off I would have never been able to otherwise. So, Ai has been nothing but a net positive in my life. Why would I be "disgruntled"?! Ai devs are awesome, they make me look like a genius. And it's going to take me a whole year to fix their mess, that's a fµck ton of money my pockets will be happy to receive :) Lastly, if Ai could steal my 6 figure salary, why aren't you applying for my job?! Are you allergic to money? Right? If I made that up and I'm afraid to lose my job, why wouldn't I just use Ai to do my job so I can keep it? And why aren't you using Ai to steal my job?! Looks like someone is indeed coping... I'm the guy who just got promoted and bought a house cash, my life has never been better, and Ai played a small role in that. I like Ai, I don't fear it in the slightest. And again... It's been 4 years, you're all still talking about what Ai WILL DO, none of you can name something Ai HAS DONE... Your Ai threats start to sound like empty threats... I'm the guy with the 6 figure job here and 95% of chatGPT users don't even want to pay for the service... Looks like I'm WAY MORE valuable than Ai... How much do you spend on Ai each month? Well, my boss spends thousands on me weekly... Results speak for themselves... I'm winning, big time!
