How can you be surprised? Elon has on many occasions said FSD/Tesla is way way ahead of all competitors. It's just not true. Tesla is coming from behind here, and with only cameras for sensors (worse, much worse). People are more than happy to see the truth brought to bear in such a easily comparable way. This video was one of the better ones for Tesla's robotaxi. There are others with serious safety incidents, including driving on the wrong side of the road. Telsa frankly just is not safe yet, compared to Waymo.
