@andrewj22 I'm not a scientist, there are people who's sole job in life is to produce these AI products. All I am saying is that they should use some basic common sense and maybe watch a few sci-fi films where it obviously went wrong. Just because it's pop culture doesn't mean there isn't useful info in there. Pretty much the entire Terminator universe spells out in great detail what can go wrong. If they can make something barely sentient play a good game of chess, they should be able to program some sort of code that hobbles any attempt by the program to do harm. They aren't doing that. Or if they are, it's an afterthought.
