You do get emotionally moved by the work of an artist. The quality of the art isn't what made it good, it's what the artist does that makes it good.
Take for example: Everywhere at the End of Time
It's a collection of musical samples from classical music that the artist, Leyland Kirby, which he arranged and then added effects to. It's seperated into 6 stages to represent the slow determination someone goes through with Alzheimer's disease. I'd highly recommend listening to it.
If you compare it to AI generated music, or AI art in general, you will start to see the divide. Has AI generated art been used to represent anything? Does it describe an experience one can go through? If so, I'd love to see it because I'm not here for good art, I'm here for what's in the art.
Leyland Kirby didn't make the original samples, but his ability to arrange them into new music (like in the middle of stage 4) to create what people could only call the "Hell Sirens" could not be done by anyone or anything else.
