@imthecoolestguyalive it's not about doing smoother lines, it's about my brain seeing reference and being unable to carry over the relationships in size etc. I draw the person from those gesture reference photos, I move the layer over original and the proportions are out of the window but it looked fine before I compared. And I am that sort of person that will not stop until everything is perfect, and that's simply too mentally draining for me. Like I trace several times the body part and when I have to draw it? nope. it's distorted. I did several weeks worth of exercises of those free "lessons" on "art school" on YT various channels but it just impossible for me. Or the progress is so slow I just can't sustain it. I am not a teenager anymore, I want to draw my characters I made up as realistically as possible, but I can't afford a hobby that just gives me stress and triggers my brain into sense of utter failure, I have stressing job enough as it is... sigh. Cheers! PS. i was just rambling tbh, there is a lot of drama about artists "stealing" art from AI, tracing it and presenting as theirs :| And a lot of "tracing is bad" etc. PS2. I meant digital art.
