Actually the value has gone down because surprise surprise, people are buying into AI image generators instead of actual artists and now we have to compete with sweatshop prices because it's all being done with AI. Name one industry where AI has had the same impact as it has had on the creative industry. To top this all off, YES our work IS being stolen. It is being fed into these databases to teach the AI, with no compensation nor any notice to the artist that this infringement is taking place.
