This argument holds no merit at all. Taking inspiration is not the same as a machine stealing hundreds of artwork and meshing it together to satisfy an user input. Real art takes time, dedication and interest. Using your “taking inspiration” argument, one still has to pay close attention to the technique and skill used in the original artwork. You learn something valuable in that process. What do you learn from describing what you want to see? Better vocab? Bsfr. Talent is not an innate thing. Its something you culminate and put effort into. Theres virtually no effort put into generating an image. And its the lack of trying that stands out to me the most- You’d rather have a machine to the heavy lifting for you and spit out an unrewarding depiction of what you have imagined, instead of taking the time to learn skills yourself? The Ai image has no value- the market is oversaturated with this crap. Learn the motor skills and put in the effort it takes to create. Its something more worthwhile. Art is the process itself. No artist starts out with perfect anatomy and depiction- you find a way to work through it. Its takes years and an unimaginable amount of work, yes - but always remember a “bad” piece you create with your own hands will always have more value than a prompt you merely punched in.
