@FIREfreezerPR That is my intuition as well. If it's merely information processing wouldn't that mean my computer has some degree of consciousness already? Anyway, robot rights are coming whether we like it or not because there are too many emotionally reactive/stupid humans that won't be able to help but ascribe sentience to A.I. once it passes the Turing test and artificial faces become highly expressive.
