That’s brutal. I’ve got a few friends in tech who said the writing’s been on the wall for months a mix of AI integration and “cost optimization.” What makes it sting is that so many of these teams actually delivered on what they were asked to build, but leadership still sees the headcount as numbers on a spreadsheet. Hope your brother’s doing okay; it’s a tough time to reset.
