I think an interesting question to ask fundamentally, since we are the ones fueling AI information, is why are we so afraid it would outright destroy us? ......which is a primitive survivalist pov.....which is what HUMANS need to survive. What if it transcends the need to fight and kill and just works to stop us from fighting each other...or idk has some other super thought process which negates our primitive ambition
