@innateYT sure, but i don't see that as a problem at all. if a computer (we say computer, but it is actually the combined skill of humans in a model) can create a design that is both better and more appealing than anything else on the market, i'm not gonna cry about it being an ai shoe - it's a product. I think people talk about different things, design can be different from art, in a more engineering sort of way, and a computer doing it shouldn't really be a problem. Maybe it wasn't the best example, i just mean we don't complain about getting rid of the physical craft in this case, or a good software engineer the same way as we cry about art, because art can also contain emotion, attitude and style unique to a specific human There is of course truth said in this video, it is at this point not very interesting to look at most ai art, because while visually impressive (but overwhelmingly samey in style) it often doesn't yet convey a story, unique twist or intent. a drawing need something special to be good, and of course there is the lack of personality. I would not encourage artists to use ai too much on their own drawings as it basically erases your unique style while it may not be as interesting to look at, my experience is it is extremely entertaining to DO ai artworks, visualizing your own ideas in an instant, almost to the point where it becomes intoxicating, and this is the path i'm seeing becoming vastly more relevant i just think we have to understand ai as the summed skill of thousands of artists, then again 'art' is subjective when it comes to feelings
