Because every 6 fingered multi-limbed AI image you see with a 'cool art style' has been copied from people with that exact original cool art style, except their art has the normal amount of fingers and limbs. AI art is literally a copy of existing art. If you 'prefer' AI art it just means you haven't ever sought out the type of art you're now enjoying in AI form.
