@user-cc3uz1mm1x Again... literally impossible to predict the future with certainty. The future is most definitely headed towards automation and AI but in trucking, even with complete automation, there will be a person in the driver seat of trucks. I can explain how gov't regulations will play an impact, how insurance companies will have to structure insurance, how no viable infrastructure has been presented as a solution to support automated trucks nationally, how there still are massive technological gaps in automation that haven't been answered for. But all that would require a whole video.
All in all, automation will come to the trucking industry as well but not in the way that many people think it will. Truckers won't lose their jobs, they will actually benefit and potentially make more money with automation and AI.
