I genuinely believe it's too late to hold a conversation at all. People are already too pushed into one of two camps, being spoonfed propaganda that alligns with their own views and is factually inaccurate, both AI bros and artists.
Don't get me wrong, I WANT there to be a discussion. But the way every single person in the world suddenly think they alone have the idea of what is "right", and with all the hate being flung both ways, I am beginning to lose hope.
We need experts and representatives from both camps to sit down and figure this out. Simply stating that "X is bad" or "Y is wrong" on social media is not going to make AI disappear, ever.
