Au contraire! AI is the result of a work previsioned since Leibniz and put into scene 80 years ago, slowly baked through computer science academia and open source projects. Corporativism is a side effect, just as happens with regular 'art' or every human activity capable of making money. I do watercolor and digital painting, just for a painting I watch at least a hundred of PUBLIC works through resources such as google or pinterest and up to 10 references for posture, color, composition, perspective, lineart, etc. Do I even mention them? Just if anybody asks, but its the same take with AI. Its not replacing us, its enhancing our possibilities.
What 'artists' are not capable of handling is that the concept of artistry is very flawed, specially because it's tangled up with money(!), or isn't your claim about copyright? AI is not endangering graphic techniques (that's what they should be called) its endangering self-centered egolatric delusions.
