@74Gee I admit, if you asked me 5 years ago, what jobs ai would take, i always answered menial / labour jobs, logic sort of stuff, but I never thought they would be trying to take up the creative field. Mainly because to me, I never saw the appeal of wanting to automate away the creative aspects of our society, writing, drawing, composing, etc. But apparently many people have their own ambitions and see those skills as a means to an end, and so the demand was there. The second aspect, was that I thought creative fields like art and such was a uniquely human thing, that an ai couldnt do it, and to an extent, i feel that it is true, it cant come up with a uniquely new idea, it can only reference past information and project something from information it was trained off of, but in aesthetics, it appears creative and functional enough that people would rather use it than hire artists. I am not so worried about ai replacing labour, because i see that outcome as something as inevitable. I'm worried that we as a society wont come together quick enough to address how this changes society and how we live, if people cant work, how do we decide how much people should earn? What is livable income? Who gets to live in the city or mansions? Is it the people who own the machinery? But it was through the effort of society and humanity as a whole that got us to that point, so then theres where I think people will have opposition with each other. Not all jobs get automated away at the same time, some industries will be human free quicker than others, how do we transition as a society? and some aspects of our society will have to be confronted, like the insatiable urge for growth, even with robots, it is unsustainable as we live in a finite planet.
